Huge congratulations to Innovatium UK, the winner of the inaugural Net Zero Innovators Award in partnership with Net Zero Technology Centre at the Decarb Scotland Innovation Showcase on Thursday 9th October. The award was presented by Sarah Murray, CEO of Forth Green Freeport. We had 12 brilliant nominations from Hausbots, Sentinel, Hydrogen Green Power, Entergaia, Steer Energy, RSE, Stimwell Services, Entropyst, Innovatium, Greenovate Solutions, Ardagh Group, and J+S Subsea.
🏆 Innovatium’s breakthrough technology, PRISMA, is a game-changing Advanced Liquid Air Battery that delivers Compressor Integrated Energy Storage (CIES). Developed over seven years of R&D, PRISMA represents a step-change in how industry stores and consumes energy. It offers a cost-effective, efficient solution that optimises compressors at the point of industrial use, improving the efficiency of existing compressed air systems by up to 30%.
👏 We also celebrate the other two shortlisted finalists:
Ardagh Group Glass Packaging who have developed the NextGen Furnace – the world’s first commercial scale hybrid glass melting furnace;
HGP Hydrogen Green Power pioneering an integrated hydrogen– e-fuels system, which captures waste CO₂ and combines it with green hydrogen to produce renewable e-fuels.
🌱 These innovations reflect the bold thinking and technical excellence driving Scotland’s decarbonisation journey.
Well done to Innovatium and all the nominees!
