Today our CEO, Dr Philippa Parmiter, was at EmpowerCymru, held by the Welsh Cluster lead – Net Zero Industry Wales (NZIW).
It is key that NECCUS forms alliances with other organisations to bolster our collaboration and collective power in pushing forward the movement to net zero.
At the event, Ben Burggraaf, CEO of NZIW and Philippa signed a MoU, which aims to support sustainable growth and promote the benefits of industrial decarbonisation in Scotland, Wales and beyond.
Together we will facilitate knowledge exchange and enable sharing of best practice in the deployment of industrial decarbonisation, connect industry and companies, and collaborate on projects, events and other activities that are of mutual interest to our respective members.
Both NECCUS and NZIW will now become respective affiliate members, and start to plan future collaborative activities.
